At the core of May Coop skincare is the miraculous Maple Sap – a natural elixir more hydrating than Hyaluronic Acid.
Harvested from the Acer Maple tree, its molecules are similar in size to water and contain four minerals: calcium, potassium, magnesium, and sodium. When concentrated, the sap's honey-like viscosity forms a protective barrier on the skin, preventing moisture loss and enhancing texture.
This essence penetrates the epidermis (skin barrier) into the dermis, actively hydrates skin cells, bolsters collagen production, and recalibrates skin density. By deeply penetrating the cell membranes, skin becomes more elastic and supple.

Harvesting our key ingredient, Maple Sap, is a ritual steeped in tradition and care. Once a year during the spring, we hand-tap Acer Maple trees in the southern Korean mountains, extracting the sap known as ‘Gorosoe.’
Revered for its health benefits, the sap is integral to Korean culture and is often consumed in large quantities for its nutrient-rich properties. Our process respects the natural lifecycle of the trees, ensuring sustainability while capturing the vitality found in every drop.
